After growing up in a place that experienced seasons backwards (Santa wore board shorts and was ruddy complexioned because of sunburn in my neck of the woods) I am pleased to report that I now live in a place where the seasons are in their proper, western society place. Summer rains and autumn colors, flowers in the spring and snow in the winter. I am content.

Shame about climate change though.
